The "I Echo" series, a collection of sound sketches that explores unfamiliar vibrations and acclimates to surroundings. These recordings range from innocence to insolence, inspired by nature and provoked by human intervention.

Deepa Jayaraman is an Indian visual artist based in New Delhi. Her works range from drawing on paper to animation. She received the 2022 Swiss Culture Grant hosted by 'artlink' in partnership with Sudkulturfonds. In 2022, her drawing 'Ascending Sparks' was featured in AGNI Magazine: Issue-96, U.S. Literary Journal, Boston University. She appeared as the 2021 Cover and Feature Artist and Contributor to AGNI - Issue 93-U.S. Literary Journal, Boston University. She received the 2020 'Five Million Incidents' Grant, Goethe Institut\Max Mueller Bhavan, in collaboration with Raqs Media Collective. Her works were part of various notably curated presentations- 'OUTSIDE: IN', 'Sound Paintings': A series of Vignettes by Raw Mango curated by Sneha Khanwalkar (Music Director/Composer) (2020); She is a Gold Medalist with distinction in M.F.A. (2011) and B.F.A. (2009) concerning academics.
She focuses on exploring the hidden tectonic forces beneath society's surface. She is interested in the symbiotic and parasitic relationship between human intervention and nature, from mutualism to manipulation. Her work delves into the signs of manipulation in human conditions, particularly in the socio-political aspects of human systems, which she captures as visual mnemonics through her drawings.
