Malaya del Rosario is a senior programme manager specialising in arts and creative economy development. She has over 10 years of experience in the management of large-scale, high-impact programmes in Southeast Asia and Europe. She has initiated public-private partnerships and led multi-country projects, from capacity-building, research and policy to art exhibitions. She has an MBA in Arts and Cultural Management from the Institut d’études supérieures des arts (IESA) and Paris School of Business, France. She is currently based in Zürich, Switzerland.

Creative Communities Unite

The Creative Communities Unite: An Intercity Gathering was a three-day conference from 9-11 August 2019, co-created by hub managers and founders from the Philippines. It brought together the country’s creative hubs through a networking and skills building platform.

Two hundred creative hub managers, community leaders and creative entrepreneurs from Metro Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and other cities from the Philippines attended, shared best practices and explored potential collaborative opportunities. Representatives from the United Kingdom and Southeast Asia were also invited to talk about the creative scene in their own cities.
