Currently working on:
It has been quite busy since I re-established my studio space and practice following a transpacific move that saw me relocate from Bangkok to Mexico City. I am fully and genuinely privileged to be able to do the projects that I get to do. I published a tiny book that has leapt into a life of its own and has been present in fairs, libraries, and galleries. That book project has become an active reading, video sound piece, and series of collages.
Quick Facts:
I am an undisciplined multi-disciplinary artist whose practice shifts between painting, drawing, video, and sound. I define my work as studio-based research that points to the political forms of questioning representation and the construction of false or distorted narratives in the context of conflict.
I'm invested and guided by ideas rather than mediums, and my practice is a tool to locate and highlight social imbalances. My work is a means to start a conversation and set the ground for these social issues to be brought to light.
